Policies

How we protect people who use this site.

Clear rules. Plain language.

These policies apply to www.wollaborne.org and to the community programs described on it.

Six policies cover how this website and our programs treat the people who use them. Each one is written in plain language, and each page shows when it was last reviewed.

Privacy Policy

What we collect. The Get Support and Partner forms collect only the details needed to contact you and understand your request: a preferred name, an email address or phone number, a preferred language and contact method, a city or ZIP code, the program you are interested in, and a brief message. We do not ask for identity documents, account numbers, or medical, legal, or immigration records, and we ask you not to send them.

Why we collect it. To respond to your request, to check whether a program can help, and to keep a record of the support we provide.

Where it goes. Form submissions are sent by email to info@wollaborne.org, an organization mailbox hosted by our email provider. The website itself is hosted by Vercel. We document every third-party tool that stores or processes information and review that list before adding a new one.

How long we keep it. Only as long as needed to respond and to keep required program records, after which it is deleted.

Who can see it. Program staff who need it to help you. Access is limited by role.

Cookies and analytics. This site uses no advertising trackers. It stores only a display preference in your browser. If analytics are added, they will be privacy-friendly or consent-controlled and will not run on support or program pages.

  • We do not sell data. Your information is never sold or shared for marketing.

Accessibility Statement

The Word of Life is committed to making this website and our programs usable by everyone. This site is built to a WCAG 2.2 AA target:

  • Keyboard navigation and visible focus.
  • A skip-to-content link and correct heading order.
  • Sufficient contrast and text alternatives for images.
  • Clear form labels, readable type, and no instructions that rely on colour alone.

If any part of this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format or an accommodation to take part in a program, write to info@wollaborne.org or call +1 (253) 320-6788. We will respond and provide an alternative.

Program Eligibility

Each program has its own eligibility rules, published on its program page. Program rules, funding, location, capacity, and enrollment may change, and each page shows a last updated date.

Submitting a request does not guarantee service or enrollment. Where a program is marked Preparing to Launch or In Development, no services are offered under it yet.

Nondiscrimination and Equal Access

Eligibility is governed by each program's rules and not by a person's race, colour, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, or any other protected status. Programs are open to eligible people regardless of faith or church membership.

To request an accommodation, or if you believe you have been treated unfairly, contact info@wollaborne.org or call +1 (253) 320-6788. You may also use the complaint process below.

Participant Rights and Complaint Process

People who use our programs have the right to be treated with dignity, to have their information kept private, to know what a program can and cannot do, to ask for a correction of information we hold about them, and to raise a concern without it affecting the help they receive.

  • Raise a concernWrite to info@wollaborne.org with "Complaint" in the subject line, or call +1 (253) 320-6788 and ask for the program lead.
  • What happensWe confirm we received it, look into it, and reply in writing.
  • EscalationIf you are not satisfied with the reply, ask for it to be reviewed by leadership.
  • CorrectionsIf information on this website is wrong, we correct it and note the change.

Terms of Use

Content on this website is general information about The Word of Life and its programs. It is not legal, medical, immigration, or financial advice, and it does not create an obligation to provide services. Program information may change without notice; the last updated date on each page shows when it was reviewed. Naming a funder or public agency does not mean that agency endorses The Word of Life. This website is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
